our story
The Artppies was started by Yoshi Lee who, after 18 years in the advertising industry, turned her attention to her first love - Painting!It wasn't long before Yoshi stumbled upon Art Jamming, a phenomenon that was quickly sweeping the USA, Hong Kong, Tokyo and other parts of the world.
The Artppies was started by Yoshi Lee who, after 18 years in the advertising industry, turned her attention to her first love - Painting!
It wasn't long before Yoshi stumbled upon Art Jamming, a phenomenon that was quickly sweeping the USA, Hong Kong, Tokyo and other parts of the world.
With her background in advertising and design, Yoshi came up with the name Artppies (it's pronounced art-peace). The name aptly merges Yoshi's background as an advertising yuppie with her roots as a fine arts hippie during her art school days in California.
